Project management is a central component of DIARECT's DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2000 conformant quality management system and covers all stages from initial discussions to final delivery.
After an initial discussion of the customer's wishes and requirements DIARECT will produce a project proposal and quotation (see our "Service Milestones" list for an overview of offered services). A milestone concept is integral part of the project proposal and its execution: after completion of a project section DIARECT will report on the achieved progress, giving the customer the opportunity of a STOP / GO decision before entering the next stage.
All procedures and results are fully documented and include SOP-derived protocols for a number of standard procedures. Delivery of project results consists of the biological materials generated in the project (e.g. expression constructs, recombinant baculoviruses, purified proteins, etc.) and the associated documentation (laboratory notebooks, SOP documentation, electronic files etc.).
