It provides longer product shelf life and less product failure due to improper storage or shipping. StabilGuard® Biomolecule Stabilizer provides similar performance to StabilCoat, but contains no protein components. Both products block nonspecific binding sites.
- Used for dry stabilization or as a diluent.
- An aqueous solution containing purified bovine protein and other non-toxic chemicals in PBS buffer (phosphate buffered saline), pH 7.0-7.4.
- Blocks and stabilizes at the same time.
- Contains no preservative.
- Excellent for bulk stabilization of freeze-dried antibodies, enzymes, antigens, etc.
- Ensures lot-to-lot consistency.
- Protects from denaturing effects of drying.
- Can be used to stabilize antibodies, enzymes, and antigens on an assortment of immunoassay components, such as polystyrene plates, tubes and beads, glass, membranes, and filter paper.
StabilCoat is ready to use, eliminating the preparation time of producing your own blocking buffers. It can be readily incorporated into most immunoassay production protocols. Also available in a 5X concentrated form.
