Microsphere Stabilizers
StabilCoat® Plus Stabilizer (and StabilGuard® Choice Stabilizer, a protein-free formulation) are formulated to improve the stability of proteins bound to microspheres stored in solution. These products protect the activity of proteins commonly used in microsphere applications and simultaneously block nonspecific binding sites. As an added benefit, these products prevent aggregation (clumping) of the microspheres; beads remain mono-dispersed even after long-term storage.

Microarray Reagents
StabilCoat® Plus Stabilizer (and StabilGuard® Choice Stabilizer) improve the performance of protein arrays used in in vitro diagnostics and drug discovery. These products produce more accurate results on array slides by increasing signal, reducing background, and improving sensitivity. They can be kept at room temperature.

• Used for proteins bound to microspheres in solution.
• Simultaneously stabilizes and blocks nonspecific binding sites.
• Prevents aggregation (clumping) of the microspheres.
• Easy to incorporate – simply substitute it for your storage/blocking buffer.
• Used to preserve the conformation and activity of proteins on arrays stored long-term in the dry state.
• Reduces or eliminates nonspecific binding decreasing overall background, thus increasing signal-to-noise ratio.
• Significantly improves sensitivity.
• An aqueous solution containing non-toxic chemicals in PBS buffer (phosphate buffered saline), pH 7.0-7.4.
• Contains a mercury-free, azide-free preservative (0.02% methylisothiazolone, 0.02% bromonitrodioxane).
