StabilGuard® Biomolecule Stabilizer maintains the activity of antibodies, enzymes, and antigens in the dry state. It provides longer product shelf life and less product failure due to improper storage or shipping. StabilGuard contains no protein components which virtually eliminates the chance of false positives when testing human serum. It also blocks nonspecific binding sites.

• Used for dry stabilization or as a diluent.
• An aqueous solution containing non-toxic chemicals in PBS buffer (phosphate buffered saline), pH 7.0-7.4.
• Used as a blocking agent and/or stabilizer for adsorbed or immobilized biomolecules.
• Easy to incorporate – simply substitute it for your blocking solution.
• Contains no animal-source proteins – eliminates the risk of test interference or cross reactivity from animal products.
• Non-toxic solution.
• Contains no preservative.
• Made with all synthetic materials – minimizes the chance for lot-to-lot variability.
• Minimizes the problem of steric hindrance in tests incorporating smaller molecules.
• Shown to work better than StabilCoat in some monoclonal antibody applications.
• Compatible with avidin-biotin reactions and DNA-based applications.
• Not recommended as a bulk stabilizer for freeze-dried antibodies etc.
