StabilZyme SELECT® Stabilizer is a diluent and stabilizer for biologically active components in solution and is recommended for protein controls (especially antibodies), competitive assays and applications where background is a problem. It maintains the activity of conjugates at ready-to-use concentrations for faster, easier, and more consistent tests.

  • Used for liquid stabilization only.
  • An aqueous solution containing purified bovine protein and other non-toxic stabilizing chemicals in a saline solution, pH 6.5-7.5.
  • Preserved with 0.02% methylisothiazolone and 0.02% bromonitrodioxane.
  • Less specific than StabilZyme HRP or StabilZyme AP.
  • Maintains enzymatic activity at ready-to-use concentrations.

Recommended for:

  • Protein controls (especially antibodies)
  • HRP-hapten conjugates used in competitive assays
  • Fluorescent conjugates (e.g., FITC)
  • Applications where background is a problem.
