Tissue Transglutaminase (tTG; expressed in Baculovirus/Sf9)

Tissue transglutaminase (tTG; syn. TGase-2) is an ubiquitously expressed enzyme, which exerts protein deamidation and transamidation activity leading to the creation of neo-epitopes and the cross-linking of proteins, respectively. DIARECT’s tTG has been sequence modified to eliminate this cross-linking activity and to prevent covalent aggregates of tTG with host cell proteins.

Gliadin (recombinant; deamidated)

Gliadin describes a class storage proteins found in wheat grains. Based on its solubility, α-,β-,γ-, and ω-gliadin can be distinguished. Gliadin is a common substrate of transglutminase, which generates neo-epitopes by deamidation of glutamine side chains. The sequence of DIARECT’s Gliadin fragment has been design to contain these neo-epitopes.
